The connecting channel of Kelapa Puan, Kelap Gading Timur, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta was dredged. The dredging was applied along 900 meters by deploying one heavy equipment.

Kelapa Gading Sub-district Head Section of Water Management, Rukmana, said sedimentation has caused shallowing. During heavy rain, the water inundated the road.
“The channel was never been dredged before,” she said, Wednesday (8/31).

“We deploy one excavator and two trucks to transport the dredging material,” she closed.
