Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat asks river normalization program can be run consistently and continually. Many rivers in Jakarta have not been normalized yet.

He added that Ciliwung river normalization program run by Jakarta Provincial Government together with central government is able to minimize flood in the capital.
City Adds Heavy Equipments to Krukut River“Previously, flood occurred along Ciliwung riverbank. Now the flood has moved to another river,” he added.
According to him, Jakarta Provincial Government will also relocate residents living at riverbank. One household will get one flat unit. The rent charge is free for the first three months.
“We have prepared Marunda, Rawa Bebek and other flats,” he closed.
