The machine is very urgent, because lots of tourists visit to the islands every weekend and long holiday.
"As I know, ATM in the islands only four units. Whereas many tourists visit here," said Bestari Barus, a Member of City Council's Banggar, Monday (9/5).
Bank DKI Adds 400 new ATMsBestari assessed ATM procurement is not only useful for tourist, but also local residents.
"Bank DKI is supposed to quickly respond aspiration of residents. So far six machines are already available in Pramuka, Untung Jawa, Tidung and Kelapa islands," he uttered.
Due to lack of ATM, he added, tourist had to queue while wanting to do transaction during holiday.
"Internet network in the islands is better now, thus no reason for additional ATM here," he finished.
