307 Fictitious Tombs in City Demolished

City Park and Cemetery Dept continues to control fictitious tombs in the capital. Until now, as much as 307 tombs have been demolished.

These fictitious tombs are spread in five cities

City Park and Cemetery Dept Head, Djafar Muchlisin recorded 439 tombs are fictitious. 307 of them have been demolished. "These fictitious tombs are spread in five cities," he stated, Monday (9/5).

He added, statistically, the most fictitious tombs are found in West Jakarta with total 199 in which 183 of them were been demolished. Most are from Tegal alur Publi Cemetery (TPU) with 176 tombs.

Followed by South Jakarta, there are 103 fictitious tombs, and 63 of them were been demolished. In Central Jakarta, 70 fictitious tombs are found and 28 of them were been demolished. Lastly in East Jakarta, there are 57 fictitious tombs whereb33 of them were been demolished.

"The minimum number is in North Jakarta with 10 fictitious tombs. But we'll continue to investigate the case," he expressed.

Until now, demolishment itself is compliance with Bylaw No. 3/2007 on cemetery. The case like this is commonly about misuse on tomb use permit (IPTM).

Whereas, according to article 37 mentions tomb plot is only designed for corpse and not allowed to be ordered those who have not died.
