Purchase of 40 Heavy Equipments for Bantargebang Approved

City Council's Budget Agency (Banggar) has approved fund for purchase of 40 heavy equipments that proposed by City Cleanliness Dept.

After being taken over, there are only 15 heavy equipments. That's why we need 40 units more

The 40 heavy equipments that proposed in the draft 2016 General Policy for City Budget Priorities and the Tentative Budget Platform (KUA-PPAS) is planned to be used for Bantargebang Landfill.

"After being taken over, there are only 15 heavy equipments. That's why we need 40 units more," said Isnawa Adji, Head of City Cleanliness Dept, Tuesday (9/6).

Council Approved Fund Proposal for Tomb Land Procurement

Isnawa expressed, at this time, waste processing in Bantargebang is conducted 24 hours to handle 7,000 tons of waste per day.

"We also allocate 75 freelancers as machine operators," he continued.

City Council Banggar Member, Prabowo Soenirman explained, fund that allocated by Cleanliness Dept for freelancer should fit the needs thus waste processing in Bantargebang maximum.

"Check it first whether it is fit with the needs or not. Including freelancer in the field," he said.
