The Cilangkap Urban Village PPSU has cleaned garbage and debris from Jl Waru I Cilangkap, Cipayung, East Jakarta, Tuesday (9/6). Garbage and debris seen scattered on an empty land as wide as 300 square meters.

Cilangkap Urban Village Head, Dwi Ispuranto disclosed, PPSU was sent for the sake of keeping the environment clean, especially citizens can be free of disease dengue fever.

"Every day, we send PPSU to clean the environment, starting from water channels, roadsides and empty lands. We want to create the environment that is clean and healthy, as well as free from dengue," he uttered.

His side appeals locals also to contribute in maintaining the cleanliness by not littering, especially on the roadside and the water channel.

"But they also need to take responsibility to clean their own neighborhoods. Do not always rely on us. Because with a large area, we can't handle alone," he said.
