Water Dept's Budget Added Up to Rp 150 B

It was approved in a meeting of City Council's Budget Agency (Banggar) while discussing the 2016 General Policy for City Budget Priorities and the Tentative Budget Platform (KUA-PPAS) on Wednesday afternoon.
City Water Management Dept Head, Teguh Hendrawan disclosed his dept proposed additional allocation in 2016 APBD-P by Rp 1 trillion for land acquisition in terms of dam and river normalization, heavy equipment purchase, project repayment to third parties and so on.

He expects council could approve the proposal thus all programs can be completed this year.
"Marunda Dam for instance, there is still leaving 11 out of 65-hectare land that has not been acquired," he told.
Other lands that have not been acquired are Brigif Dam, Kampung Rambutan, Pondok Rangon. To accelerate its process, his party will utilize the developer's obligation.
"Land acquisition will be covered through fund of developer. So, we do not depend on APBD only," he finished.
