Bundaran Senayan-HI MRT Construction Reaches 70 Percent

The construction of Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) from Bundaran Senayan-Bundaran HI has reached 70 percent. Underground drilling has reached 1.4 kilometer.

“The platform (peron) has reached 50 percent. Totally, the project reaches 70 percent. This is not included the signal and installation project,” said Mohammad Natsir, Operation and Maintenance Director of Jakarta MRT, Thursday (9/8).

Meanwhile, drilling process has reached 1.4 kilometer from Bundaran Senayan to Semanggi and Bundaran HI to Dukuh Atas Station.

“Bundaran HI station will be integrated with Transjakarta,” he added.

Related with land buying process, South Jakarta Mayor, Tri Kurniadi admitted his side keeps pursuing the target. There are 38 land lots in Cipete being processed. The land is handled by Jakarta Dept. of Bina Marga and Dept. of Transportation.

“Payment target is completed in December 2016. We offer Rp 26 million per meter square, but the owners ask Rp 150 million,” he admitted.
