2,000 Trees Pruned in W. Jakarta

About 2,000 trees in West Jakarta were pruned during January to August 2016. The effort was aimed to anticipate fallen trees.

The effort was applied for high and shady trees

West Jakarta Head Sub-dept. of City Park and Cemetery, Uus Kuswanto, said pruned trees were angsana, mahogany, tamarind, trembesi, and so on.

“The effort was applied for high and shady trees. It is aimed to avoid fallen trees especially during heavy rain,” he said, Friday (9/9).

25 Trees on Jl Utan Jati Raya Pruned

Pruning locations were Jalan Daan Mogot, Outer Ring Road Kembangan, Kyai Tapa, S. Parman, Puri Kembangan, Pesanggrahan, Tomang Raya, and Kota Tua.

“It is hoped the effort will give more comfort and security for the citizens,” he closed.
