456 buildings that spreat in RW 04, 05 and 06 Rawa Bunga Urban Village, Jatinegara will be torn down in the near future. All this time, they have occupied the green belts and water channels since 20 years. 

We will firstly tear down 41 buildings on the land as long as 400 meters

Rawa Bubga Urban Village Head, Agustina disclosed, execution will be done gradually. As the initial stage, it will be concentrated in RW 04, precisely at Jl DI Panjaitan, RT 14, 15, 17 and 18. It is prioritized for buildings on green belt and channel such as in Jl KH Kaiman or next to Telkom building until Barkah Park.

"We will firstly tear down 41 buildings on the land as long as 400 meters," he stated, Friday (9/9).

Commonly, those are used as dwelling, dorm, cafe, restaurant and so on. His side has reported this matter to sub-district and mayor.

Jatinegara Sub-district Head, Nasrudin Abu Bakar disclosed the building owner will be summoned at the sub-district office next year regarding socializatio  of demolishment plan. So far, data collection is under process. 

"Next year, we'll do socialization where the owner obligated to tear down their buildings. If not, we will do it forcibly," he stressed.

There is no compensation or relocation plan. This is because they have occupied public facilities.the land would be refunctioned as before.
