Bukit Duri Residents Appealed to Move to the Flat Immediately

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama urges Bukit Duri residents to immediately move to the flat. Considering Ciliwung River will be normalized as soon as possible.

We want you all to move as soon as possible

According to Basuki, the flat for relocation is ready to be occupied by residents. Socialization was also been done by city government. Even residents had received first until third warning letter.

"We want you all to move as soon as possible. Don't make a reason and suddenly report to Komnas HAM that says there is no socialization," he stated, at City Hall, Friday (9/9).

Building Control in Bukit Duri Already Based on Procedure

He went on the say that building execution would be conducted after third warning letter sent. It is done to smoothen river normalization and hoped able to minimize flooding.

"Execution will remain run. This is central government's program. As you know, normalization always failed about ten years," he expressed.

Basuki added some residents have moved to the flat. They get various facilities such as free bus service, KJP, doctor service, etc.

"We just await the rest residents to move. You must know, you will get free facilities that you have never felt, so what you're waiting for," he uttered.
