A Warehouse at Jl Abdul Muis Burnt

I had tried to put out the flames but it was failed. About the cause, I don't know

Fire gutted a warehouse that is used as a used compressor storage near gas station (SPBU), Jalan Abdul Muis, Gambir. Luckily, the fire could be controlled thus not spread to the other gas station.

Mesak (30), one of security officers disclosed smoke came out from the warehouse. Not long after, he saw fire and tried to put out it using portable extinguisher tool (Apar).

"I had tried to put out the flames but it was failed. About the cause, I don't know," he told, Monday (9/12).

Muhammad Rifai (31), a fireman of Central Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-dept stated his side got report at 10.30 AM. And then immediately sent nine fire trucks to the scene.

"Fire burns the warehouse belongs to a restaurant," he told, Monday (9/12).

There was no casualty reported in the incident, but the loss reached millions rupiah.

"Allegedly, it's due to electricity short-circuit," he closed.
