29 Banners Violate Regulation Controlled

Jakarta Satpol PP personnel have controlled 29 banners at protocol roads and public facilities at five administration areas during August 2016.

Most of the banners were unlicensed and outdated

“The banners have been controlled due to violating regulation,” said Jupan Royter, Jakarta Head of Satpol PP, Thursday (9/15).

Meanwhile, Jakarta Head of Facility and Infrastructure Controlling, Partono, stated the controlling is based on Governor Regulation No. 244/2015 about Ads Banner Guide.

8 Banners in Cengkareng Removed

“Most of the banners were unlicensed and outdated. The rests were attached at forbidden areas,” he stated.

According to him, mostly the ads banners were promoting about drink, cellular provider, and online shopping.

In details, there were 10 banners controlled in South Jakarta, seven in East Jakarta, four in North Jakarta, seven in Central Jakarta, and one in West Jakarta.

Not only ads banner, his side also controlled illegal political party banner at several roads and public facilities.

“The political party banners were already controlled and taken to Satpol PP warehouse in Cakung,” he closed.
