Water Sport Zone in Tidung Island Relocated

Seribu Islands District Administration is going to relocate a water sport zone around the Love Bridge, Tidung Island.

The ban signposts are installed in three zones, such as swimming, ship dock and water sport

"The ban signposts are installed in three zones, such as swimming, ship dock and water sport," said Fadli, Head of Tidung Island Urban Village, Monday (9/19).

According to Fadli, it is done after there was an accident that experienced by a kid, AF (12) who died after being hit by a propeller towboat on the banana boat while swimming.

He told, swimming zone for residents and tourists are on the northeast beach of Tidung Island. As for water sport zone that was previously on the north, will be relocated to the south nearby a ship dock.

"This is the mandate of the regent. Because the north that is near swimming zone is deemed very dangerous," he finished.
