KPU Needs SKPD Assistance to Map Voting Zone

Jakarta General Election Commission (KPU) wants support from regional working unit (SKPD) to update the voter data, especially for relocated residents. This will influence the number of voting zone (TPS).

It is predicted there are 13 thousands voting zones

Sumarno, KPU Head, predicts voting zone for regional election could reach 13 thousands locations. But his side will map the area first.

“It is predicted there are 13 thousands voting zones. But it depends on voter number and mapping result,” he said, Tuesday (9/20).

Joint Post Formed to Monitor 2017 Pilkada

The mapping is being run since August up to September. Voting zone mapping is focused on relocated area.

“Our mapping is based on administrative. We hope all SKPD can assist to update the voter data related with relocation area,” he added.
