40 Stalls Netted in Integrated Controlling

Dozens of street vendor stalls in East Jakarta were controlled during integrated raid held today, Tuesday (9/20).
There are 40 stalls secured from two different locations. All are taken to warehouse in Cakung
As many as 100 joint personnel controlled stalls, illegal parking, PMKS at Jalan H Naman and Jalan Raya Pondok Kelapa, Pondok Kelapa, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta.
Dure Sawit Sub-district Secretary, Ibrahim, said street vendors activity have disturbed the public order.

Stalls controlled during raid were from traders of fruits, bags, tyre repair, and so on. Personnel also secured three carts.
Meanwhile, Duren Sawit Sub-district Satpol PP head, Andik Sukaryanto, admitted the raid involved joint personnel of Satpol PP, East Jakarta Sub-dept. of Transportation and Army/Police. PPSU personnel were also deployed post the controlling.
“We have warned them, but the ignored it,” he closed.
