Rain poured the capital since noon up to afternoon had cause puddle at several areas in Kelapa Gading Sub-district, Wednesday (9/21). In fact, the 5 cm puddle has receded quickly.

Puddle in Jakarta must recede no longer than 10 minutes

There are four spots in Kelapa Gading Barat at Jalan Yos Sudarso, Graha KNS, Jalan Boulevard Barat in front of Hyundai and Mall of Indonesia.

In Kelapa Gading Timur, water inundated Jalan Boulevard Utara in front of Mall Kelapa Gading, Jalan Boulevard in front of Karisma, Jalan Boulevard Timur in front of La Piaza and Jalan Perintis Kemerdekaan.

“In Pegangsaan Dua Urban Village, the puddle was at Jalan Boulevard Timur in front of Al Azar Mosque, Jalan Pegangsaan Dua in front Yakobus, Jalan Raya Pegangsaan Dua in front of Green Hill, and Jalan Arteri Pegangsaan Dua,” said Yusuf Madjid, Kelapa Gading Sub-district Head, Wednesday (9/21).

According to him, each areas PPSU personnel were directly deployed during the rain to handle the puddle.

“It is also based on governor’s instruction. Puddle in Jakarta must recede no longer than 10 minutes,” he closed.
