A number of closed circuit television (CCTV) cameras will be installed on some roads that prone to nail traps in the capital. By so, the government will know the nail spreader.

Wildan Anwar, Head of Technical Unit Administration for Traffic Management System (SPLL) disclosed that CCTV installation is based on the public complaint through Governor and Head of Transportation Dept regarding nail traps on the roads.

Nail Traps Once Again Found on Jalan Gatot SubrotoThose 19 points are West Jakarta at Jalan KH Hasyim Ashari, precisely at flyover towards Sumber Waras Hospital; Jalan Daan Mogot in front of ABC, Slipi Flyover of Jalan Kemanggisan Utama, Jalan Daan Mogot towards Cengkareng, Kedoya and pesing flyovers, South Jakarta at Jalan Tentara Pelajar, Jalan Simprug and Jalan MT Haryono.
As for Central Jakarta, there are Jalan Veteran, Jalan Letjen Suprapto, Jalan Medan Merdeka Utara and Jalan KH Hasyim Ashari with two directions, North Jakarta at Jalan Martadinata and Jalan Cakung Raya and East Jakarta at Jalan I Gusti Ngurah Rai, Jalan Pondok Kopi, Jalan Sukamto and Jalan Radin Inten.
"We cooperate with Jakarta Communication, Informatics and Public Relation Dept. For the number, is unlimited, but should be according to the needs and it uses CSR program," he expressed.
Separately, Section Head of Multimedia for Jakarta Communication, Informatics and Public Relation Dept, Ardika Iman added, before being installed, his side should do survey first at the location. It is to find out which coordinates that will be installed with CCTV with effective distance between 20-30 meters.
"We predict to install 38 CCTVs. The number could increase or decrease, depending on the field condition," he finished.
