Public Kitchen Provided for Flood Victims in Cipinang Melayu

In order to assist the flood victims, Cipinang Melayu Urban Village, East Jakarta has provided public kitchen. The flood victims have been also moved to safer places.
Coordination with related units have been also made to distribute other aids
Cipinang Melayu Urban Village Head, Angga Sastra, said 311 flood victims have been evacuated. In details are 151 people at Urban Village SKKT building, 125 people at Borobudur University, 5 people at RW 03 posts and 30 people at Al Muqorobin Mosque.
“We have provided public kitchen for them. Coordination with related units have been also made to distribute other aids,” he said, Saturday (9/25).
Flood Handling is Already Based on Its Root AnalysisCoordination is made with East Jakarta PMI for food, East Jakarta Sub-dept. of Health and sub-district puskesmas for medical and health service, and East Jakarta Sub-dept. of Social.
He appeals the residents to be aware with flood threats since the weather is unpredictable.
“We’ll cooperate with Dept. of Water Management to minimize the flood. Bagwork can be provided at the river,” he closed.
