268 Illegal Buildings at Jl Kalibaru Timur Controlled

Hundreds of Illegal buildings at Jalan Kalibaru Timur, Utan Panjang, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta were controlled by joint personnel, Monday (9/26).

The road will be refunctioned as its initiate function

The controlling of semi-permanent buildings along Kalibaru connecting channel is aimed to refunction the road.

Kemayoran Sub-district Head, Herry Purnama, admitted his side had conduct the socialization and give warning letters. Today is the deadline.

Illegal Buildings at in Petojo Utara Demolished

"We demolish 268 kiosks and semi permanent buildings,” he said, Monday (9/26).

There were 435 joint personnel of Satpol PP, PPSU, Sub-dept. of Cleanliness, Water Management, Bina Marga, citizens, Army, and Police. Two backhoes were also deployed.

“The road will be refunctioned as its initiate function, channel will be dredged by the water management agency,” he added.

Meanwhile, Utan Panjang Urban Village Head, Ety Kusmiyanti, stated the traders at the location is under Central Jakarta Sub-dept. of Cooperative, Micro Small Middle Enterprise and Trade. They will be relocated to Nangka Market and Cempaka Sari coaching location, Harapan Mulya, Kemayoran.
