Jakarta Dept. of Transportation is about to improve 26 crossing bridges this year. The improvement will not use city budget fund, but developer’s obligation.

“We propose to improve 26 bridges this year,” he said, Monday (9/26).
City to Provide Disabled-Friendly Crossing BridgeAccording to him, Pasar Minggu crossing bridge is one of bridges to be improved this year. In fact, the bridge already collapsed before being improved.
“Pasar Minggu crossing bridge is one of our improvement priority,” he added.
Based on the data, there are 318 bridges in the capital. 289 bridges are managed by Jakarta Provincial Government, 26 bridges by Bina Marga General Directorate, and 10 bridges by PT KAI.
