City & East Java Win Gold from Athletics Sport

Jakartan and East Jakarta athletes have taken gold in five sports of athletics at PON XIX/2016 West Java that held at the athletics track of Pakansari Stadium, Bogor Regency, Monday (9/26) afternoon.

Got the title of overall champion with 14 gold medals out of 47 contested by the 34 provinces is an incredible achievement

Jakarta managed to win gold from men's pole vault that achieved by Frederick Saputra with a leap of 4.90 meters high. He beat Teuku Tegar Abadi (East Java) with 4,90 meters and Eko Wicaksono (Lampung) with 4,60 meters.

As quoted by www.pon-peparnas2016jabar.go.id, the city's second gold from hurdles branch with fastest score at 10:19,65, followed by Yulianingsih (East Java) with 10:40,85 and Pretty Sihite (North Sumatera) with 10:46,97.

While East Java, also adds more gold from men's hurdles branch, 3,000 meters and women's relay race, 4x400 meters.
