Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama admitted execution will keep running. Because there have been many citizens moved to the flat. Moreover, the normalization project in Ciliwung River cannot be delayed anymore.

"We'll execute building in Bukit Duri today. Because we have relocated citizens to the flat," he stated, at City Hall, Wednesday (9/28).

Execution Process, Traffic Around Bukit Duri Diverted

The reason is due to finance of normalization project through APBN. According to the schedule, it should be complete in the upcoming December.

"Now we use APBN, so it must be complete at the end of this year," he expressed.

Basuki does not want to repeat the incident in Kampung Pulo. His party had given leeway for execution. But finally the normalization becomes hampered.

"This is like Kampung Pulo case, which messed up due to slack time until one-three weeks. After that, rainy season happens and our equipment damaged. So the project got delay," he explained.

Such execution also avoids rainy season that will happen in the upcoming December-January. After execution, we can continue to do normalization. "If it is postponed, it will realize in 2018," he closed.
