Residents Want Normalization for H Deih Channel

The residents of RT 14/09 Lubang Buaya, Cipayung, East Jakarta are asking for normalization of H Deih connecting channel. Usually, the area is inundated up to 40 cm, including the resident houses.
There are also three schools inundated. I hope related unit will overcome this matter soon
Lubang Buaya Urban Village Head, Fathoni, admitted his residents often complaining about the inundation condition.
He hopes related unit will dredge the channel as soon as possible. It will not fully completed if only deploying PPSU personnel.

The inundated schools are SMAN 113, SMPN 172 and Minhadjurassyidiin islamic boarding school.
Meanwhile, East Jakarta Head Section of Maintenance for Sub-dept. of Water Management, Yoserizal, promised will respond the citizens’ complaint.
“We’ll improve and dredge the channel next week,” he promised.
