Flood in Kemang Recedes in 45 Mins, Basuki Says

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T. Purnama, admitted still unable to free Kemang, Mampang Prapatan, South Jakarta from flood. The area should be free from flood after Krukut river is normalized.

“Kemang will still be flooded. But our guarantee is the flood will recede in 45 minutes,” he said, Tuesday (10/4).

According to him, Krukut river normalization is still waiting the building inventory data from Dept. of City Spatial Planning. The data will be synchronized with National Land Board (BPN) data.

Several Roads in South Jakarta Inundated

As reported earlier, Bangun Cipta Sarana housing complex at Jalan Kemang Selatan 12 RT 05/01, Cipete Selatan Urban Village, Cilandak, South Jakarta was flooded up to 60 cm.
