Nine Sidewalks in Central Jakarta Improved

A number of damaged sidewalks that spread in eight sub-districts in Central Jakarta. It aims to provide convenience for the passerby.

There are nine sidewalks repaired this year. The location was chosen in accordance with Mr. Governor, the high mobility of its citizens

"There are nine sidewalks repaired this year. The location was chosen in accordance with Mr. Governor, the high mobility of its citizens," expressed Aris Komaris Nandika, Head of Central Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-dept, Wednesday (10/5).

The nine sidewalks are located in Menteng Sub-district at Jalan Blora and Srikaya, Tanah Abang Sub-district at Jalan Jatibunder, Sawah Besar Sub-district at Jalan Karang Anyar, Cempaka Putih Sub-district at Jalan Cempaka Putih Tengah, Johar Baru Sub-district at Jalan Percetakan Negara II, Gambir Sub-district at Jalan KH Hasyim Ashari until Jalan Tanjung Selor, Kemayoran Sub-district at Jalan Bungur Besar Raya and Senen Sub-district at Jalan Stasiun Senen.

Rp 263.7 B Prepared for Sidewalk Reparation

Such repair has been carried out since the end of September 2016 and each location has varied long. In details, Johar Baru Sub-district (400 meters), Cempaka Putih (1,200 meters), Senen (600 meters), Kemayoran (700 meters), Sawah Besar (900 meters), Tanah Abang (700 meters), Gambir (600 meters) and Menteng with two locations (1,800 meters).

"For sidewalk wide starts from 2.5-5.5 meters in accordance with road condition and is targeted to be finish in mid-December 2016," he finished.
