Using JakCard Combo, You Can Enjoy Free Transjakarta Service

Jakarta Provincial Government has provided a free service for Jakartans with special category who wants to ride Transjakarta bus.

It is stated in Gubernatorial Regulation No. 160/2016 on service of Free Transjakarta and Free Bus for Residents

Besides Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) recipients and flat occupants, the free service is also provided to Jakarta civil servants (PNS) and its retirees, as well as contract employees, either freelancer and PPSU. 

Head of Transjakarta Public Relations, Prasetia Budi disclosed, besides them, the same service is also dedicated to certain private employees with Jakarta UMP salary where its payment through Bank DKI. They can enjoy it, as long as they have JakCard Combo Bank DKI.

"It is stated in Gubernatorial Regulation No. 160/2016 on service of Free Transjakarta and Free Bus for Residents," he expressed, Wednesday (10/5).

Therefore, all employees who have no JakCard Combo are asked to process it at Bank DKI by redeeming Bank DKI ATM. Then the officer will redeem it with the new ones, namely JakCard Combo.

"So redeem it soon, because it will end until October 17, 2016. Later on, it is is not allowed anymore with manual recording," he stated.

Before October 17, 2016, the customer with the above provisions can still use the free service by showing ID card (KTP), Jakarta Smart Card (KJP), identity card and ATM card of Bank DKI.

If there are difficulties associated with JakCard Combo card can contact the Call Center of Bank DKI at (021) 1500-351 or Customer Service Branch of Bank DKI.

"For now it's only valid in Transjakarta corridor. It is not yet unavailable for those who are from or toward the buffer zone," he uttered.
