As many as 114 PKL stalls at Kramat Jati Market, East Jakarta, were controlled, Friday (10/7). The controlling was held since the PKLs occupied space in front of vegetables area. The controlling involved 100 personnel.

Market’s manager, Nurman Adhi, admitted his side had conduct socialization for the PKLs, as well as giving first up to third warning letters. They are prohibited to sell in the afternoon, precisely in front of vegetables traders.

“We have socialized this before, but they remain ignore our warning,” he said.

One shovel was deployed to clean waste left by the traders such as decayed vegetables, plastics, and valet.

His side will deploy personnel to prevent the PKLs violating the operational hours. They are prohibited to sell from 7 AM to 4 PM.
