Biopal Toilet in Kampung Pulo Launched

The biopal toilet constructed at RT 14/03 Kampung Pulo, Jatinegara, is finally launched. The toilet which is completed with waste installation is constructed by PD Perusahaan Air Limbah (PAL) since September 16 and completed on September 28, 2016.

Next biopal toilet will be constructed and we’ll support it

East Jakarta Mayor, Bambang Musyawardana, said the biopal toilet is one of programs to improve the Ciliwung river raw water standard.

“Next biopal toilet will be constructed and we’ll support it,” he said, Wednesday (10/12).

Embung Construction at Jalan Babek TNI Reaches 95 Percent

As planned before, similar toilet will be constructed at Bidara Cina, Cawang, Cililitan up to Batu Ampar.

Meanwhile, Director of PD Pal Jaya, Subekti, explained the bio pal toilet constructed in Kampung Pulo is an early step to cooperate with stakeholders such as BUMN, BUMD, and NGO.

“We need to cooperate to improve the raw water quality. One of the ways is by providing such toilet,” he stated.
