North Jakarta Class 1 Immigration ranks held a sudden inspection against foreigners at Sunter park View Apartment, Jl Laksamana Yos Sudarso, Tanjung Priok, Wednesday (10/12).

We secure 13 foreigners, but eight others have no passport

They managed to secure 13 foreigners. After undergoing investigation, 8 of them could not show their immigration documents or passport. Those are from Mozambique and Nigeria.

"We secure 13 foreigners, but eight others have no passport," said Bayu Dewa Brata, Section Head of North Jakarta Immigration Supervision, Wednesday (10/12).

He added that the raid was held after getting a report that foreigners in the apartment often conduct mischief and disturb the other occupant.

"They often tease female occupant in the elevator and get drunk," he expressed.

Currently, the eight foreigners have been brought to the North Jakarta Immigration Office to be recorded. If the validity period of stay is expired, they will be returned to their hometown.
