Jakarta Head Dept. of Health, Koesmedi, said his side plans to provide governor regulation to provide hand washing facilities at public area. The program is aimed to familiarize healthy and hygienic lifestyle and suppress diarrhea case.

According to him, the death for children caused by diarrhea is quite high. In fact, the number is increasing from year to year.
Washing Hand Campaign Held in North Jakarta“Diarrhea is caused by dirty hands. It is important to provide hand washing facilities at public area,” he added.
He continued that washing hand is the simplest way to prevent death and disease.
“We need to socialize this program for citizens via banner, videotron, pamphlet, and so on,” he closed.
