Dozens of street vendor’ carts and stalls at Jalan Palmerah, Gelora, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta were controlled by Satpol PP personnel, Wednesday (10/19). The effort was run since the vendors selling above water channel and on sidewalk.

Tanah Abang Sub-district Satpol PP Head, Aries Cahyadi, said the effort was based on Bylaw No. 8/2007 about Public Order. Previously, the vendors have been warned. But they ignored it.
