East Jakarta Administration has proposed 10 urban village offices to be renovated next year. Especially for Pulogebang Urban Village office, will be relocated to Era Mas 2000 Residence.

"Hopefully, our proposal may be approved. Because this is a part of governor's strategic plan," disclosed Bambang Musyawardana, Mayor of East Jakarta, Wednesday (10/19).

For Pulogebang Urban Village office, would be relocated because the land is narrow. But there is denial issue from residents of Era Mas 2000 Residence.

"This is the government's land, we want to build an urban village office. About protest, surely it can't, this is our asset. This is for common interest," he continued.

Meanwhile, Head of East Jakarta Governance Division, Dewi Purnama Sari added, 10 urban village offices that proposed are Pulogebang, Cipinang Besar Selatan, Balekambang, Jatinegara, Kampung Melayu, Kelapadua Wetan, Kayu Putih, Pondok Ranggon, and Ujung Menteng.

"Of 10 offices, two were approved, namely Pulogebang and Cipinang Besar Selatan. Then others are still under proposal process," she told.

About fund for its renovation, still being recalculated. Thus its nominal is still unknown, but it is predicted to reach Rp 7 billion per unit. This is only for physical construction.
