Transjakarta Launches Service for Disabled People

PT Transjakarta launched service for disabled people. The service namely Transjakarta Cares will pickup disabled people to reach nearest shelter.
We’ll pickup them with our Transjakarta Cares car
Jakarta Governor, Basuki T. Purnama, said the idea came up when launching taxi for disabled people.
“We’ll pickup them with our Transjakarta Cares car,” he said, Wednesday (19/10).
Transjakarta Launched 116 New BusesTransjakarta Director, Budi Kaliwono, hopes the service will assist disabled people getting secure, comfort, and cheap transport.
“Disabled people are also Jakarta citizens. They have right to get subsidy and facility from Jakarta Provincial Government,” he stated.
As the beginning, his side launched five cars with seven drivers and 20 personnel. His side targets to realize 40 cars.
“As the early step, Transjakarta Cares will serve two zones in Central and West Jakarta. Its operation from 8 AM to 5 PM everyday,” he continued.
