Political Banners Controlled from Jl KH Mas Mansyur

Dozens of flags and banners in Tanah Abang area, Central Jakarta are controlled by Satpol PP, Monday (10/23). Controlling is done because those violated the Bylaw No. 8/2007 on Public Order.

Chief of Tanah Abang Sub-district Satpol PP, Aries Cahyadi disclosed, the existence of flags and banners has disturbed the beautiful of the city. In addition, several banners have violated the rules of Jakarta KPU, because its contain leads to a support for pair of Jakarta Governor and Vice Governor. Considering the campaign is not yet scheduled.

"We control 15 flags and banners along Jl KH Mas Mansyur and Jl KS Tubun Petamburan," he stated, Monday (10/24).

Further, they then brought and given to the Elections Supervisory Committee (Panwaslu) for Tanah Abang Sub-district, and his side will also routinely patrol prior to campaign period.

"We send 25 personnel to control those flags and banners today," he finished.
