Jakarta Governor, Basuki T. Purnama, said previously there were 16 companies ready to join.

The eight companies are PT Bank Central Asia, PT Plaza Indonesia Realty, PT Wisma Internasional, PT Grand Indonesia, PT Sinarwisata, PT Indofood Sukses Makmur, PT Astra Internasional, and PT Drei Internasional.

According to him, several infrastructure projects in the capital use developers. By involving developers, city budget can be maximized for society welfare. Especially for health, education, housing, and staple food.
