Basuki: PT Jakpro Must Join in SPBG Procurement

PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) is asked by Jakarta Vice Governor Basuki T Purnama to contribute in the procurement of gas-filling station (SPBG) in Jakarta. We encourage PT Jakpro to join us in SPBG procurement. They have shares, so they must build SPBG as many as possible since there is not many of it now

We encourage PT Jakpro to join us in SPBG procurement. They have shares, so they must build SPBG as many as possible since there is not many of it now,” stated Basuki at City Hall, Wednesday (5/21).

Based on the results of general shareholders meeting (RUPS), Basuki explained, PT Jakpro is asked to build SPBG in every TransJakarta bus pool to ease the filling. The ideally amount of SPBG in Jakarta is 40 SPBGs. But this time, there are only eight SPBGs which located two in Daan Mogot (West Jakarta), one on Jalan Pemuda (East Jakarta), one in Pasar Minggu (South Jakarta), one in Kampung Rambutan Terminal (East Jakarta), one in Pinang Ranti Terminal (East Jakarta), and one on Jalan Raya Bogor, (East Jakarta).

City to Build 6 New SPBGs and MRU

“We want them (PT Jakpro) to build SPBG in every TransJakarta bus pool. We’re targeting to build more than 40 SPBGs in Jakarta, or at least 20 is okay,” he expressed.

Meanwhile, PT Jakpro Director, Budi Karya Sumadi, admitted that his party is ready to build new SPBGs in the city. But first, they will do some coordination to find out how many SPBG needed.

“We need to confirm first how many SPBG to be built. Based on the information, there are seven depots. We don’t know whether SBPG to be built in those depots or not,” he uttered.

According to Sumadi, the coordination is expected to finish within a month. Thus, in the next eight months, additional SPBGs can already be realized.

“This month, we will coordinate with PT TransJakarta. We hope the material consolidation could finish in a month,” he expected.

Besides with PT TransJakarta, PT Jakpro will also coordinate with PT Pertamina and PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN) as the owners of gas pipeline network. While for SPBGs construction, PT Jakpro will collaborate with Jakarta Industry and Energy Department as well as private sectors.

“The budget is quite large, about Rp 30 billion for each SPBG,” he disclosed.
