Section Head of Community Participant (PSM) for Jakarta Park and Cemetery Dept, Yuswardi disclosed, according to the rules, tree pruning cannot be done without permit of Jakarta BPTSP.

"Tree pruning must have permit from BPTSP. And then we give a recommendation. But don't do it illegal," he stressed, Monday (10/31).

Yusmadi admitted already knows those who committed such case. They conduct it clandestinely in the early morning.

"We plan to report the case to the police," he stated.

Relaying on Beritajakarta.com's data, a number of trees around Semanggi Interchanges are pruned. Not only that, flower pots at the place are seen broken due to illegal pruning.
