November 4, Executive Train Diverted to Jatinegara Station

To anticipate density around Gambir Station related to a massive demonstration on November 4, PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) Daop I will divert executive departure to Jatinegara Station, East Jakarta.

On Friday, it is predicted traffic towards Gambir Station will be crowded due to demonstration

Senior Manager of Public Relation Daop I for PT KAI, Sapto Hartoyo disclosed that Gambir Station is near City Hall building and Presidential Palace that will be the location of demonstration on Friday (11/4).

"On Friday, it is predicted traffic towards Gambir Station will be crowded due to demonstration. That's why executive train departure from Gambir diverted to Jatinegara Station," he expressed, Thursday (11/2).

Number of Security Personnel will Be Adjusted For Demo

Despite the departure is from Jatinegara Station, yet train arrival will be as usual, remains arrive at Gambir Station. There are 20 executive trains diverted on the upcoming Friday.

Those 20 executive trains are Argo Muria, Argo Dwi Pangga, Argo Parahiyangan, Tegal Bahari, Argo Jati, Taksaka, Argo Anggrek, Cirebon Ekspress, Bangunkarta, Argo Sindoro, Argo Bima, Gajayana and Argo Sembrani. 

It is applied at the morning until afternoon, in accordance with schedule at Gambir Station.

"To improve service, four boarding officers will be alerted at Jatinegara Station," he stated.

The passenger that already has ticket/booking code on the departure time as indicated on the ticket, can ride from Jatinegara Station.

His side also urges train candidate passenger to make sure the name on the ticket/booking code that is in conformity with the name on the identity cards of passengers.
