Residents Complain Waste Pile

Cengkareng residents complaining the illegal dump site on Jalan Kamal Raya, near Al-Istiqamah Mosque, RT 02/08, Cengkareng Barat Urban Village. The dump site makes the area looks slum.

Jujum (52), local resident, admitted the illegal dump site has been existing since three years ago. It is called illegal since the personnel do not transport the waste continually.
“It’s depend on them when to transport the waste,” she said, Sunday (11/6).
Eight Cubic of Waste Cleaned from Grogol RiverWest Jakarta Head Sub-dept. of Cleanliness, Edy Mulyanto, said personnel must transport waste anywhere. It’s based on theirs SOP. Waste at illegal dump site must be also cleaned since it’s difficult to find location for legal dump site.
“Personnel must not leave the waste at the location,” he said.
He promised will instruct Cengkareng Sub-district Head Section of Cleanliness to transport the waste.
