197 Stalls of Mester Market Re-arranged

After passing through discussion and agreement, the arrangement of 197 stalls belong to street vendor (PKL) in Balimester Market area, Jatinegara, East Jakarta, finally conducted. This independent arrangement has been ongoing since Sunday (11/6) and is targeted to be complete on Wednesday (11/9).

That's why PKL arrangement in Mester has not been realized, thus they took the initiative to do arrangement independently. Surely it is very helpful

Relaying on Beritajakarta.com's data, Monday (11/7), the stall that initially uses tarpaulin, triplex, box and cardboard is being arranged. Currently, it uses tents that made from iron type knock down that can be assembled. So it looks neater.

Akmal (47), a street vendor expressed, arrangement towards 197 stalls is conducted independently. It is to create the impression of a neat thus equal to other street vendors in front of Jatinegara Market Gate.

PKL Stalls on Jalan Kuningan Barat to Be Arranged

"The tent is rather backward, thus the road is wider than before. Previously, the wide was only 3.5 meters, and now about 3.9 up to four meters," he told, Monday (11/7).

Head of East Jakarta KUMKMP Sub-dept, Arfian disclosed there has been no budget about temporary shelter for PKL.

"That's why PKL arrangement in Mester has not been realized, thus they took the initiative to do arrangement independently. Surely it is very helpful," he stated.

Later on, those would be guided and be participated in the program of retribution payment through Bank DKI autodebet. From 197 PKL, 95 out of them already opened Bank DKI account for autodebet program. As for the 102 other PKL are under process. This week, it is predicted they could already have Bank DKI account.
