Jakarta Housing and Government Building Dept could only finish 524 flat towers this year. The number of the flat that can be built is not in accordance with the initial target due to some problems.

Section Head of Technical Planning for Jakarta Housing and Government Building Dept, Kelik Indriyanto disclosed the flat that has been finished is KS Tubun, Central Jakarta. Part of project had to be cancelled and stopped temporarily.
"Indeed, flat project at some points are planned this year. But only a few units could be realized, precisely 524 units at KS Tubun," he told, Monday (11/7).
Two Flat Towers Ready to Open PKBMKelik added there are eight points of project this year. Due to some problems at seven points, it had to be cancelled and stopped temporarily.There are two flats stopped, namely Jatinegara Kaum and Pinus Elok.
"We stop its construction, because the contract has entered blacklist in Bogor. We do not want to take a risk so we stop it," he told.
For Jatinegara Kaum Flat, there would be three blocks with 300 units. The construction progress has reached 45.85 percent.
While Pinus Elok Flat, is planned to have one block with 100 units. It has reached 42.51 percent.
Then there are six constructions stopped temporarily. Because, based on monitoring in the field, the construction is not in accordance with standard. Among them are some walls tilted, construction is not appropriate, and so forth.
The six flats that stopped are Cakung Barat, Jalan Bekasi KM 2, Rawa Bebek, Semper, Marunda. As for the other that stopped temporarily is 13 blocks and one tower with 1,435 units.
