Puskesmas Employees Get Fire Handling Training

The Seribu Islands Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-dept gives a fire handling training to employees of North Seribu Islands Sub-district Puskesmas, Harapan Island. As many as 30 employees participate in the training.

"We train them how to make a fire report, to use traditional and portable fire extinguisher tool, as well as to handle fire due to gas and electricity," expressed Edy Rudiyanto, Head of Seribu Islands Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-dept, Monday (11/7).

Edy added that training is very important, because the existing fire post location is far. Thus the employee could handle fire before firefighter officer arrives.

"The fire post is located in Karya Islands, it's very far. That's why we give this training," he finished.
