Council Supports Project of Muara Angke Port Integrated Area

City Council (DPRD) is supporting a project design for the Muara Angke Port integrated area. Even, it could be the pride of the capital.

It must be realized. We're targeting to execute it in 2019

City Council Commission Chairman, Tubagus Arif disclosed that council hopes all stakeholders under Jakarta Provincial Government to contribute in succeeding the project design for Muara Angke Port integrated area.

"Stakeholders that involved are Jakarta Bina Marga, Water Management, KPKP, Transportation and Cleanliness dept. This is how to realize the construction of Muara Angke Port integrated area," he expressed, Monday (11/7).

Council Activities Demanded to Be Published Intensively

He furthered that City Council also had proposed legal protection in form of Bylaw about Muara Angke Port integrated area project. Hence, they hope there is a seriousness of Jakarta Provincial Government on this matter.

He is also optimistic if the project was realized, it would have a positive impact towards economic development in the city. Including maintaining fresh fish supply for Jakartans.

"It must be realized. We're targeting to execute it in 2019," he said.
