Free Cataract Service in Seribu Islands Inaugurated

Jakarta Acting Governor, Sumarsono inaugurated a free cataract surgery at Seribu Islands General Hospital (RSUD). The service is a program of corporate social responsibility (CSR) from Port Hospital.

He added Jakarta Provincial Government is committed to keep adding new facilities for improving public service.
Free Service For 100 Underpriviledged Citizens"We hope we can improve infrastructure every year, especially for education, health and quality of life," he expressed.
He also intends to make Seribu Islands as a world-class destination. The desire must be balanced with an increase in quality in various fields.
"Transportation has been improved, we have three new boats and ready to operate," he expressed.
Seribu Islands Regent, Budi Utomo uttered cataract surgery service is free. It is a cooperation between Port Hospital with BPJS.
"This is free of charge. The surgery only takes 20 minutes. After one month, it will be continued to the next eye," he stated.
In his visit, he also inaugurated the Kelapa Urban Village Office, and is hoped could serve residents optimally.
