Jakarta Provincial Government set a target of regional tax revenue (PAD) on the revised 2017 APBD KUA-PPAS amounting to Rp 35.23 trillion. The amount was up to Rp 580 billion from the initial proposal.

Santoso disclosed, the increase in revenue target next year was from three types of regional tax, namely Street Light Tax (PPJ) and Urban and Rural Land and Building Tax (PBB P2). Based on evaluation results from such tax, the next year's regional tax has increased up to Rp 580 billion.

"The increase in PPJ by Rp 50 billion was based on the result of joint coordination with state electricity firm (PLN) Disjaya that will increase the electric fare (TDL) type industry in the first quarter of 2017," he explained.
Revision is also done on parking tax revenue that was initially proposed by Rp 520 billion to Rp 600 billion. The increase amounting to Rp 80 billion, hoped to be obtained from the imposition of parking tax rate in the capital city that currently only about 20-30 percent in accordance with the rule of law.
"We hope there is change in local regulation as a legal protection about fare charging by 30 percent of parking tax in the capital," he hoped.
Edi added that PBB P2 revenue target revision which was originally proposed by Rp 7.3 trillion to Rp 7.7 trillion.
"It experienced higher increase of around Rp 400 billion," he finished.
