Angsana Tree on Jalan Joglo Raya Prone to Fall

Residents living in Joglo Urban Village, Kembangan Sub-district request related unit to prune angsana (Pterocarpus indicus) and acacia trees on Jalan Joglo Raya.

Due to extreme weather, I hope the trees can be pruned as soon as possible

It is because those trees are prone to fall. Moreover, extreme weather also hit the capital city nowadays.

Edy R (55), resident of RW 04, Joglo Urban Village, hopes the trees can be pruned by related unit.

City Find Solutions How to Cope With Tree Prone to Fall

“Due to extreme weather, I hope the trees can be pruned as soon as possible,” he said, Sunday (11/13).

West Jakarta Head Section of Green Belt for Sub-dept. of City Parks and Cemeteries, Arwin Adlin, admitted his side remains run the tree pruning in Joglo. Three days ago, his side has pruned trees at Jalan Joglo intersection.

“Next target is on Jalan Joglo, based on residents’ request,” he stated.

Meanwhile, West Jakarta Sub-dept. of City Parks and Cemeteries pruned trees at Kalideres Bus Terminal today.

“The effort is aimed to prevent fallen tree,” he said.
