Jakarta Provincial Government stated will give strict sanction for entertainment places circulating drugs.

We do not give sanction without giving the evidence

The step is already based on existing bylaw No. 6/2015 about Tourism.

“We do not give sanction without giving the evidence,” said Catur Laswanto, Jakarta Head Dept. of Tourism and Culture, Tuesday (11/15).

He denied a statement delivered by one of entertainment places that the place got sanction without evidence.

“It’s incorrect. We will give warning if we found drugs,” he uttered.

Meanwhile, Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Jupan Royter Tampubolon, admitted his side had never issued warning letter as accused by the entertainment place owner.

“We have regulation as base of issuing the letter. We need cooperation with entertainment place to eradicate drugs,” he stated.
