City Council Holds Hearing with Entertainment Place Entrepreneurs

Jakarta City Council held hearing with Jakarta Entertainment Entrepreneurs Association (Asphija), Tuesday (11/15).

They need to deliver their aspiration related with entertainment places used as drugs circulation

The hearing was attended by Jakarta City Council Chairman Prasetio Edi Marsudi, Commission A Chairman Riano P Ahmad, Commission B Chairman Tubagus Arif, Jakarta Head Dept. of Tourism Catur Laswanto, Jakarta Satpol PP Head Jupan Royter, and BNNP Head Gen. Brigadie Wahyu Adi.

Jakarta City Council Chairman, Prasetio Edi Marsudi, said the hearing was held in order to respond Asphija’s letter.

Entertainment Places Closure Based on Bylaw

“They need to deliver their aspiration related with entertainment places used as drugs circulation,” he said, Tuesday (11/15).

Jakarta City Council Deputy, Abraham Lunggana, stated that the monitoring of drugs circulation at entertainment places is managed under Bylaw No. 6/2015.

“The regulation clearly explained the sanction for entertainment places used as drugs circulation. The mechanism is starting from warning up to closure,” he stated.

Jakarta Provincial Government will close the places if caught circulating drugs twice.
