East Jakarta Sub-dept. of Cleanliness and Pisangan Timur Urban Village will find solution regarding the closure of disposal site on Jalan Pisangan Lama Selatan by PT Kereta Api Indonesia (PT KAI).

Budi Mulyanto, head of agency, admitted the land is owned by PT KAI. The company will use the land as double-double track (DDT).

“We still waiting urban village side to get solution by finding new place with cart center system,” he said, Thursday (11/17).

Usually, the disposal site accommodates trash from seven urban villages such as Pisangan Timur, Cipinang, Kayu Putih, Pulogadung, Jatinegara Kaum, and Rawamangun.

RW 04 Pisangan Timur Head, Mohammad Junaedi, said there is no clarity when the disposal site will be closed. He hoped the urban village side will find solution soon.
